Purpose/Summary
To provide excellent guest satisfaction in our restaurants by flawless execution of recipes, food appearance and food quality.
Requirements
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Food Preparation Execution
-
Set up station according to Sauced Standard and Guideline
-
Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
-
Follows recipes, portion control and presentation specifications as set by Sauced BBQ
-
Restocks all items as needed throughout the shift
-
Maintain a clean work station, constantly practicing food safety, sanitation and organizational skills
-
Has an understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in your station
-
Assists with cleaning, sanitation and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas
-
Adheres to proper storage and hierarchy of food
-
Performs additional responsibilities as requested the Executive Kitchen Manager or Kitchen Manager at any time
OPERATIONAL EXECUTION

Maintain personal health and sanitation standards
-
Knows to keep track of and report all wasted food
-
Must handle and rotate all food products properly
-
Maintain a clean uniform and understands the he/she is always on stage

Attendance in mandatory meetings and training
-
Ensure 100% compliance with all company policies and laws, including health and safety standards
-
Ensure compliance with Sauced Code of Ethics, Integrity and Conduct
NECESSARY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

Must be 18 years of age
-
A minimum of 2 years full service, high volume, casual dining restaurant experience preferred

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Good communication skills
-
Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
-
able to memorize menu recipes to ensure speed and accuracy for our guests

Experience working in a team orientated environment
-
Must have knowledge of knife skills
-
Essential hand/eye coordination
-
Knowledge of principles for dealing directly with the public

Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing

Mature judgment in handling all matters
-
Excellent organization and problem solving skills

Standing and walking during entire 8 hour shift
-
Lift and carry supplies and cases up to 50 lbs

Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, shakes, stirs, pours and carries

Understanding of restaurant KDS systems
-
Ability to speak, read and write in English
-
Food Handlers permit required
